About the Webinar
In this first webinar of a two-part series on acute proximal forearm trauma, you will learn more about the merits and limitations of the different systems for classifying forearm fractures (Monteggia, Bado, Jupiter, Mason, Morrey and An, O`Driscoll and Jupiter, Mayo, Giannicola). Through a series of case studies ranging from simple to complicated fractures, the possible treatment options (tension band wiring, screws, single or double plates, radial head prosthesis and combinations thereof) will be discussed and the clinical results will be presented. You will also learn about the advantages that mini-double plates can have over single dorsal plates, which are still the standard in many cases. Available study results on various questions will also be presented in this webinar.
