About this Scientific Article

Read in this retrospective study in which points a 3D miniplate system (Trauma 2.0, Medartis, Basel, Switzerland) seems to be superior to conventional plates for the treatment of mandibular fractures. Data were collected from 336 patients who underwent surgical treatment of mandibular fractures over a period of 5 years. The surgical procedure is described step by step. A main focus of the study was the evaluation of postoperative complications.
