This fifth module of a 15-part series deals with the management of fractures of the mandibular body. In the first part of the video you will learn more about the objectives, indications, possible approaches, available osteosynthesis material and the principles of the AO (Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Osteosynthesefragen) and SORG (Strasbourg Osteosynthesis Research Group) for the surgical treatment of mandibular body fractures. The second part deals with the surgical treatment of non-standard mandibular fractures using different implants.
