About the Webinar

This fourteenth module of a 15-part series is divided into three parts. In the first part, you will learn why the coronal approach is superior to traditional approaches in the treatment of traumatic and oncological fractures and in reconstructive surgery. You will get a detailed overview of the surgical steps of the standard procedure. Indications, incision lines, dissection, final steps after surgical procedure as well as potential complications are explained in detail. In the second part, the question is answered why a systematic reconstruction of the frames of the facial skeleton in panfacial fractures, starting with the outer frames and then going on to the inner frames and the orbits, is of decisive importance for the outcome. In the last part of this module you will learn about the basic principles of secondary correction: virtual planning, navigation systems, patient specific implants and the value of intra- and postoperative imaging. Outcomes are presented in case examples. The video concludes with a short Q & A.
