About the Webinar
In this webinar, learn how the question "What are the prerequisites for treating a radius fracture?" led to IBRA's CT-based treatment-oriented classification system for distal radius fractures. It is based on a biomechanical understanding of the mechanical forces underlying each fracture type. In this webinar, you will learn more about how to use this classification in your daily practice as a guideline to classify the fracture type based on the key fragments present and, based on this, select the appropriate approach and implant for the necessary stabilisation of the specific fracture. Numerous case examples are shown to explain in detail how to recognise the respective key fragment, the osteoligamentous unit, and which treatment consequences result from this. You will also learn about non-key type fractures, different plate designs and you can benefit from a detailed and informative Q&A.
